Wichita - We are here

On highway 54 coming thru Kansas on our way to Wichita we went through the area of Greenburg, KS where the last tornado hit about a month ago. They had just opened up the highway so we didn't have to go around the 50 mile detour. What a depressing site. They are still just cleaning up after the diseaster. We are now in Wichita with Clay's cousin and we will be having another mini reunion with one of his aunts on Sunday. We went to 7 cemeteries while in Beaver, Oklahoma with his cousin Becky who drove us around the dirt roads.

The hay fields we saw as we drove along the road around Beaver, Oklahoma.

This is the Dalton gang hideout in Meade, Kansas. Jake can you tell us who the Dalton gang was?

This is a 2300 acre farm that Clay's cousin owns in Beaver, Oklahoma. WE had to drive down a 10 mile dirt road to get there. Do you see the huge silo? What is a silo Jake? They have about 110 head of cattle they raise. Can you see our trailer in the picture Ben?

The Dalton gang were famous outlaws and that's all I know.

A silo is where farmers store grain and stuff.

We can't find your trailer in the picture
